Not much to say

I haven't blogged in a while. I have been busy getting bills in order and getting prepared for the big move to PA. I am super excited but also nervous. Like my title says, I don't have much to say.

$260 later

So we will start this story at about 11:30pm July 4th.
I had to work from 4pm-10pm. I got home and after some playtime with Ben, Mike and I put him to bed.
By midnight, I was really wanting a snack but we had none in the house. He asked me to get him some cheesecake bites and I was feeling the call of a chili cheese dog. So, I go out to the car but the key won't turn. I messed with it for a while then gave up and came back in. Mike asked if I had changed my mind and I told him "not really, the car did". So then Mike had to check it out to see if he could make the key turn, but no luck. We searched the internet and found this to be a very common problem of the Ford Focus. A very large percentage of Focus owners have had this happen to them as well. So then we started to look for a cure that wouldn't move our current residence to beneath the Skyway bridge.
We ended up calling AAA today thanks to my grandmothers AAA Plus membership. We have AAA but she has the Plus, that's a $50 difference in benefits. They came out and was able to get the old key cylinder out and put in a new one with the keys recoded to work everything as normal.
The total bill was $259.75 and with grandma's Plus membership we ended up paying $159.75. It could have been worse but man, what a set back in the finances.

Happy 4th of July to us!

I have a few pages I'd like to endorse.

First being my father-in-laws page. He is recently retired and trying to generate extra income. His sites are very entertaining. His blog page is What's Happening to America?. He also has another site mikiemetric that shows off some pictures he has accumulated over the years as a truck driver. He also offers english tutoring and digital photo editing on that site as well. He is a brilliant man. But then I am kinda biased.

The next site I'd like to share with you is my husbands. In my eyes he can do no wrong and I love to read his blogs. They are insightful AND funny. You can find him at Mike's Musings.

The last site I am endorsing today is of an old high school friend, Jason (Jay to me). He is an enterprising man and I think his site has the potential to really take off. You can find him at ifiguredthingsout.

I hope you find these sites to be of interest. I know I do.
